Jay Trends lnc warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the term specified below. The warranty periods set out below commence on Jay Trends lnc original invoice date or manufacture date of the product.
Warranty period for Jay Trends lnc products are listed as below:
For iPhone, iPod Accessories, Wireless products; three (3) months from Jay Trends lnc invoice date or six (6) months from manufacture date
Jay Trends lnc shall be entitled, at its sole discretion, to reject the returned products at distributors cost and risk under the following conditions:
• No RMA number marked on the outside of carton.
• Mix returned products without RMA.
Not withstanding the above, the limited warranty does not cover the following damage, deterioration, malfunction and problems that result from:
• improper transportation or packing during the return of products to Jay Trends lnc or an Jay Trends lnc authorized service providers;
• modification of Jay Trends lnc products without Jay Trends lnc written approval;
• use of the product for any purpose other than its normal intended use, or other product misuse;
• the use of parts not manufactured or sold by Jay Trends lnc;
• service by anyone other than Jay Trends lnc or an Jay Trends lnc authorized service provider;
• improper installation of third-party products;
• improper exposure to an environment (including excessive temperature or humidity);
• unusual physical or electrical stress or interference, failure or fluctuation or electrical power,
• lightning, static electricity, fire or other acts of God;
• failure to follow product instructions or failure to perform preventive maintenance;
• any other cause which does not relate to a product defect;
• products for which Advance Sound Devices has not received payment;
• removing or altering factory applied serial number from the product.
Shipping Cost
Subject to the terms of point 3 below, distributor should cover all the shipping costs, and assume all risks of loss for Product shipments from distributor to Jay Trends lnc. Distributor agrees to maintain a general product insurance to fully protect the products shipped in the event of any loss or damage during transit.
Subject to the terms of point 3 below, Jay Trends lnc will cover all the shipping costs for shipment from Jay Trends lnc to distributors and Jay Trends lnc shall assume all risks of loss or damage during the transit.
In all cases, all custom duties, tariffs, and costs associated with international customs clearance, and import duties, imposed on product shipments outside of the United States shall be paid for by the Distributor, including but not limited to, shipments of defective products to Jay Trends lnc. By contrast, all custom duties, and costs associated with U.S. custom clearance, and U.S. import duties will be paid for by Jay Trends lnc, including but not limited to, shipments of repaired or replaced products.
